Using outward foreign direct investment (FDI) as a measure of capital flows, the report finds Jersey's outward FDI reached $19.7bn in 2023, growing at an annual average rate of 17.1% over the decade, with Europe absorbing nearly 100% of the total in 2022 — Luxembourg receiving the largest share (80.1%), followed by the UK (15.2%) and Germany (2.8%), equivalent to $3.3bn flowing into the UK that year.
