According to the Economic Development Board Mauritius, the Mauritius International Financial Centre has more than three decades' track record in cross-border investment and finance. Its banks offer services ranging from retail banking to fund administration, private banking, structured trade finance, Islamic banking, investment banking and custody, and the financial services sector contributed more than 11% of GDP in 2023. The Economic Development Board Mauritius (EDB) is a corporate body set up under the Economic Development Board Act 2017 and operates under the aegis of the Ministry of Finance; it commenced operations as a statutory body on 15 January 2018. Its mandate includes promoting Mauritius as an investment and business centre, a competitive export platform and an international financial centre, acting as the main institution for country branding for investment promotion, and facilitating both inward and outward investment. 毛里求斯经济发展局（EDB）是依据《2017年经济发展局法》设立的法人机构，隶属财政部管辖，并于2018年1月15日起作为法定机构正式运作。其职责包括将毛里求斯推广为投资与商业中心、具有竞争力的出口平台及国际金融中心，作为负责投资促进国家品牌推广的主要机构，并促进双向投资。 模里西斯經濟發展局（EDB）是依據《2017年經濟發展局法》設立的法人機構，隸屬財政部管轄，並於2018年1月15日起作為法定機構正式運作。其職責包括將模里西斯推廣為投資與商業中心、具競爭力的出口平台及國際金融中心，作為負責投資促進國家品牌推廣的主要機構，並促進雙向投資。
