The Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) serves as a financial hub for Central Asia, the Caucasus, the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Middle East, West China, Mongolia, and Europe. The centre offers an English common law based jurisdiction with world-class regulatory standards and a legally separate and independent judicial system. Authorised financial companies benefit from 0% corporate income tax and VAT, while all participants enjoy 0% dividend withholding tax and capital gains tax.
